Endoscopy Non-Technical Skills (ENTS) Simulation Course
(For all members of the endoscopy team, certified endoscopists, trainee endoscopists, endoscopy nurses, health care support workers and other allied health professionals)
Delivered by the National Endoscopy Training Programme in collaboration with the Joint Advisory Group on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Course Date: 28th November 9am to 4.30.
Course Venue: Simulation Centre, St John’s Hospital, Livingston (TBC)

Course Learning Objectives
The candidates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the endoscopy non-technical skills (ENTS) involved in maintaining a safe and patient centred endoscopy environment. These skills include
- Situational awareness
- Safe decision making
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Effective Leadership
Candidates will observe, discuss and practice these skills.
